Devotions

Heavenly Father, For the gift of this new day, I thank You. For the breath in my lungs and the sleep that has restored me, I give You praise. As the sun rises, let Your light rise in my heart. Guide my thoughts, my words, and my actions today. Let my work, whether great or small, be done for Your glory. Let my interactions with others be filled with Your grace and patience. Give me this day the strength I need for my tasks, the wisdom for my decisions, and a spirit of peace to calm my anxieties. Protect me from temptation and keep my focus upon that which is good, and pure, and true. May I be a vessel of Your love in the world today. Amen.
