Devotions

Merciful Father, You have forgiven me of more than I could ever imagine, yet I find it so hard to release the hurt that another has caused me. I come before You with this stone of resentment in my heart. I cannot remove it on my own. I ask You to soften my spirit. Pour Your grace upon my wounds and help me to see this person through Your eyes—as a beloved child who has lost their way. Release me from the prison of my anger and bitterness. Grant me the strength to forgive as I have been forgiven. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard my heart and my mind. Amen.
